Our Beautiful Environment

Our spacious school building features three large, bright classrooms connected by a central hall, where we come together each day for worship and lunch. We also have a smaller fourth classroom, which is used by Year 2 pupils for their English and Maths lessons in the mornings and provides a flexible learning space for other classes and groups during the afternoons.
Each classroom enjoys direct access to outdoor areas, including our playground and large school field, which play an important role in children's learning, recreation and wellbeing. Willow Class also benefits from its own dedicated Outdoor Classroom, which pupils can access freely throughout the day. In addition, our Prayer Garden offers a peaceful space where children can gather to reflect, pray, worship or simply enjoy a moment of quiet.
We are delighted that a new Shepherd's Hut will be arriving in November, creating an attractive additional space that can be used for a variety of educational and wellbeing purposes. It will also serve as a quiet sanctuary where children can reflect, relax, pray, or seek a moment of peace during playtimes.
We are fortunate to have a beautiful lodge within our school grounds that houses both our library and nurture space. Warm, welcoming and designed with a natural woodland feel, this special environment provides a calm and tranquil setting where children can enjoy reading, listening to stories, choosing books, or receiving support for their emotional wellbeing.
Our extensive school field features a range of wooden climbing equipment, a physical activity trail, outdoor gym and a storytelling throne with seating, creating exciting opportunities for outdoor play and learning. Situated at the foot of Levin Down, the field and playground enjoy stunning views across the valley towards the Goodwood Hills and the River Lavant.
The playground is enhanced with engaging markings that encourage children to stay active while extending learning beyond the classroom. Surrounded by beautiful woodland, pupils can observe cattle grazing, birds of prey soaring overhead, and the changing seasons unfolding in the landscape around them. It truly is an extraordinary outdoor classroom that inspires curiosity, exploration and a love of nature.
